Lajares is a typical village in the north of Fuerteventura, ideally located at equal distance from the East , West and North shores. You will need only 15 minutes drive in each direction to reach the spectacular cliffs and lagoons of El Cotillo, or the sand dunes and clear waters of Corralejo. The village is well served by buses from and to Puerto del Rosario, Corralejo, El Cotillo, and La Oliva.
